Switzerland is blessed by nature with beautiful snow covered mountains. The mighty Alps could be seen with its grandeur with multiple facets. Starting point for the tour is Meiringen and ends at the same place after a full day trip. 
      
The first pass which comes on the tour is Grimsel which is at 2167 m. En route the curvy roads winding across the mountains, one can see the mighty Alps towards standing like a wall on one side. The Neufen pass is the next one on the trip which is at 2904 m. The Ticino River has its source at the east of the top of this pass. The pass boasts of the signature of the "Gries Glacier" which gives an impression as if it's the canvas which is painted by God himself.

The curvy roads up the pass is a delight for mountain bikers many of whom you pass while going up. One of these curvy roads below looks like the signature of Zorro!

The Gotthard pass which is at 2106 m, is the next one to see and on the way come some of the best in civil engineering. Be it the typical Arc bridges based on German architecture or the most modern multi-layer bridges or the numerous tunnels on the way.

The Gotthard pass is of much significance as it connects Germany with Italy. There is a tunnel built for making this connection and a memorial was erected in memory of those killed during the construction of the tunnel link which was of strategic importance especially during the World War II. Gottard pass also connects the northern German speaking part of Switzerland with the Italian speaking part. 

 The last one in the tour is Susten pass which is at 2262 m. By the end of tour, one is left with lifetime memory of the multiple faces of the mighty Alps, nature's marvels, God's creativity and engineering marvels of mankind.

Here is the story of the brave soldiers of Indian army, during the Indo-China war in 1962. The story is of gallantry, patriotism and dedication of a small platoon of Indian soliders who bravely fought a battalion of Chinese army with full artillery support. Thanks to  @Peacef_Warrior  and  @anilkohli54  for sharing the detailed account on Twitter.  Introduction Rezang La  was the site of the last stand of the 13 Kumaon, during the War in 1962 company led by Maj Shaitan Singh (Winner of  Param Vir Chakra ). On 18 November 1962, 114 Indian soldiers out of a total of 123 were killed killing 1300 Chinese soldiers in the battle. Petu

Saryumousi passed away yesterday. After the last rites, "Petu" is nowhere to be seen. The relationship between Saryumousi and Petu is more than that of a mother-son. Their relationship was an example of affection and undiluted love.  There was a small hamlet in the low lying areas of the coastal Odisha. Most of its inhabitants were fishermen who made their leaving by fishing in the sea. Mr. Shashidhar Dash, headmaster of the village school lived there with his wife Saryudevi.
