The Neufen pass is the next one on the trip which is at 2904 m. The Ticino River has its source at the east of the top of this pass. The pass boasts of the signature of the "Gries Glacier" which gives an impression as if it's the canvas which is painted by God himself.

The Gotthard pass which is at 2106 m, is the next one to see and on the way come some of the best in civil engineering. Be it the typical Arc bridges based on German architecture or the most modern multi-layer bridges or the numerous tunnels on the way.

The Gotthard pass is of much significance as it connects Germany with Italy. There is a tunnel built for making this connection and a memorial was erected in memory of those killed during the construction of the tunnel link which was of strategic importance especially during the World War II. Gottard pass also connects the northern German speaking part of Switzerland with the Italian speaking part. 

 The last one in the tour is Susten pass which is at 2262 m. By the end of tour, one is left with lifetime memory of the multiple faces of the mighty Alps, nature's marvels, God's creativity and engineering marvels of mankind.
